Messages - mercury rising

I always wanted to try Mercs so i decided to pair it with time manipulation. Heals,buffs,debuff and gadgetry helped some plus incorporation of speed with hasten and burnout puts farsight and chrono shift on perpetual recharge. The merc's still die in trials but last mostly through the whole thing. When the 3 buildups are going off plus the res debuffs its killer. Bit more of a challenge than bots but i do like the thematic appeal.

Kismet was looking over your build as well, and did you know that with fulcrum shift going off on 4 targets in range you are at the damage cap for all your aoe's which effectively means your Decimation proc won't help! So all that overslotting on suppresive fire for a 20 second hold on a single target is meaningless.

with global recharge at 95% hasten goes off 2 minutes for every 3 making global recharge effectively at 142%. Overall damage from build at 349.25% with procs and buildups going off effectively hitting damage cap. Decimation in soul storm hits the right values for it to proc consistently. Haste overall 165%. defense values at: Smashing 36%, lethal 36%, Energy 42%. S/L resists at 62%. Soul storm coupled with power boost gives a very effective hold as witnessed numerous occasions on Shalice in Mothers of Mayhem trial. Hit points at 1323, recovery at 3.43 with end use at 1.31 and a max end of 110. So overall a very great build with healing and buffs for recharge and buffs for damage resist as well as other effects with increase density. I could add more recharge but its simply not needed, would rather have the set enhancements from winters gift giving me 6% resist to fire and cold and 10% mez coupled with 12% movement rate.

No witty comeback? That's all? I feel like Kirk addressing Khan in Star Trek 2. "Khan i'm laughing at your superior intellect" This is from Kismet and i heartily agree .I don't doubt that Suppressive Fire can be made to proc effectively with its 20 second recharge, but so what?

Empty Clips, Bullet Rain, and Piercing Rounds can all be made to proc as well, have much more interesting and build-affecting choices like FF procs and -res procs, and they do actual damage to boot! Plus when the main focus in this game is nailing mobs a minor damage power against one target is not very fruitfull at all.

I actually do get it, I had quite a long chat with kismet about this very subject. You are maximizing the minimum. This is your choice of course but maximizing a higher rated damage power would provide more damage with the chance to proc. You have a chance to proc that is the emphasis, not a 100% chance to proc even with your numbers you might run into hit cycle when it doesnt proc at all or much. As for making a power like time stop for instance do damage that's almost crazy to me i'd rather maximize the hold and other effects so my damaging powers could do more damage in that scenario. I always check with others before i make my statements, so i don't agree with you nor have i seen any proof of your amazing abilities in trials all i ever see is you helpin me finish someone off..lol! Also if i remember correctly Red you had a discussion with me about my information from mids getting a build to look better on paper so how are you not doing the same thing with your math calculations? The answer is Red's answers are always right and we are wrong unless we see the light and think like you do. Have a pleasant day!

with suppressive fire you are just maximizing the minimum , why not make a damaging power a proc monster that's where it sings like executioners shot perhaps or any of the others that have multiple options. Proc away if the power does damage but a power that has no damage?

Well i suppose for clarification i should make sure that it says 3 lvl 50 invention recharge in hasten. Mainly for lvl 50 content. Ran him in 2 hours of trials and then a kill most itf set at +4/x8 for about 1 hour and 20 mins only died once when trying to solo a mob of 20 myself but it was fun too! Was averaging about 145% recharge so i was happy. Doing damage,buffing characters and debuffing enemies.

I had tried this out last year and was fun to play but decided to redo him with what iv'e learned from many about builds. Especially the one's that hang out in up to no good and who we call our zen master Kismet. I redid everything and made him viable with an amazing recharge rate,great defense and damage resist. Debuff and buff capabilities and transfusion into a really good heal along with transference. With hasten almost on perma as well averaging 106.5%-176.5% recharge.

Looks like another roller coaster build but has a few issues. When using repel and telekinesis together your end recovery is less than your end use. You have nice defense but almost no damage resistance that might pose a problem if you are in melee range. Your damage even with your procs is not amazing. making a proc monster with suppressive fire would be great if it did more damage but minor damage scale cant live up to what you want to happen. Added a pic of your vitals from mids.

I decided to take that long trek to the rogue isles after getting portal jockey hero side. Patron pools...namely mu mastery for charged armor gives the 3 resists you really need S/L/E plus picked up tough and managed to spec him to 75% for s/l and 71 for energy. Plus managed to get defenses soft capped. Improved my damage by 20% as well.

Also to you especially Redlynne, i'm getting tired of the critiques and telling me how i should do this,how i should maximize my damage with your proc arithmetic it's not my style nor did i ask for your opinions. Thank you for your critique, but this is simply how i play. I go for the best set bonus in each power so i can enjoy playing and not worry about my survivabilty or to much end use. 6 slotting farsight with my recharge puts it 15 seconds off perma, so in essence i'm giviing the team to hit and defense almost all the time. Chrono shift and temporal mending i'm maximizing recharge and healing so keeping myself,my bots and lending a hand keeping the team upright. My ranged attack abilities are for proc abilities and set bonuses my robots are doing all the damage anyway. I'm a flying character so i'm having almost all the perks but afterburner which really isnt needed since the fly rework. my reactive defenses went into my frozen armor and really gave me some sweet defense. 2 nights of trials no deaths cause i dodge everything my pets do in certain circumstances but i can always get more fresh troops.

My first Mastermind run in quite awhile,used an older toon just respecced and reslotted him. A well rounded MM with great ranged damage,heals,buffs and debuffs. Also a 101.25% recharge rate and softcapped defense with even some damage resistance. hoarfrost has my 3 global procs for damage resist.
