Game crashed with TDR on NVidia

I have an NVidia Quadro K3100M graphics card, over the past few years I have kept it disabled entirely as it was formerly setting itself as the default boot graphics card (so windows was starting up with it), but it began blackscreening. I figured the card was seated in it's PCIe slot wrong, but this is a dell laptop and taking it apart so I could even get to the graphics card to reslot it was confusing (and that's coming from someone who has no problem taking apart every other computer I've ever owned and installing new hardware.)

so I recently got a new harddrive installed and asked the technician to reslot the card for me as well. he did and it works again. City of heroes gave me the "this card can do ultra mode settings" message (but I chose to use my default non ultra settings) and I started playing but a couple missions into a Citidel TF something happened between lots of council and players in the area and the game slowed down, froze then quit with an error message saying the graphics driver crashed due to a TDR.

looking that up online told me it's just a graphics card overload because of too much going on on the screen at once. but my on-board Intel HD Graphics chip never TDRs ever.

so I'm wondering what can be done about this? whether something needs to be done on my side or whether the game is treating my NVidia card differently and this might need to be looked into by devs, I would appreciate help rectifying this error.

I will say this, when the NVidia card was on the game was running noticeably fast. as in it even looked like my run speed was faster, as if the framerate were higher. not sure if that has any relation.
Ye cannie be dividin by zero! However, ye can be dividing 0.0 by a non-zero! that'd be a float.
always Decimal(str(your float)) before you int( your float).
