Backstory: Phoenyx Lionheart lived a life of adventure and excitement as a fiery brawler who often gets her into trouble with crime families and bounty hunters. Fate gave her the chance to be with a loving man who she saved from Nyarlathotep's agents in the planet of Ishtar, who was known as Sandalphon, an archmage with a pure heart. After Phoenyx found out that she was pregnant with Sandalphon's child, she was torn between aborting her unborn daughter or abandon her lifestyle filled with thrills and adventure. Because of her abundant love for Sandalphon, Phoenyx chose the latter option.
Phoenyx would later give birth to her daughter Brianna, and later raised and trained her daughter to become a hero who would later be Lovebird. Seeing as though Phoenyx knew about the crime families and bounty hunter factions that terrorized parts of the Andromeda Galaxy more than any other hero, the Star Warrior known as Marston came to visit her and face her in a duel. Although Phoenyx managed to hold her own with Marston for a long time, she was ultimately defeated by him, but her resolve was acknowledged and her spot in the Splendid Seven was earned.
As Firebird, she is a master in hand to hand combat while having the ability manipulate and generate fire to create flaming melee weapons as well as empowering her fists with her flames to generate explosive punches to immolate and decimate her foes, making her a very versatile combatant.
