Morning!

My global handle is @Thilenium and my ingame characters start with or contain 'Thile' in their name - no exception. So far I have played and equipped about 20 characters. ten of which I took through the incarnate stuff. Others I 'swiped left'.
I tried out a lot of Brute powers to find a setup that i might like even better than my original one (see 'Brute, the CoH-Workhorse (Super Strength - Bio Armor)'). While I did not yet find such a build there is a honorable mention here and this is going to be a short one.

all the best, Thilenium

Summary Brute (Titan Weapons - Fire Armor)
+ Brilliant Fire Farmer (Just for reference: this build does my regular fire farm from Sidewinder 10-15% faster than my main)

- This would be a great Primary, in all aspects, but for one thing: it feels a bit clonky.  the interaction with general content 'feels' less immediate. But in fire farms, where the mobs come to you, this Primary is great.

Contents
a) The role of a Brute
b) Fire Armor Secondary
c) Titan Weapons Primary
d) Attack chains, single target and area of effect
e) Genesis Incarnate Power and helpful keybinds and macros

a) The role of a Brute
The Brute used to be the Damage Dealer and Tanker in vanilla. Now that both sides can pick Tankers and both sides can traverse to each others side, the Tanker role is less pronounced. Also the attuned Brute IOs do not have as many tanky stats as the Tankers IOs. In my case I save one slot by not choosing 'Taunt'. That being said: all attacks still taunt. That combined with the many area of effect skills make tanking for parties very viable.
Brutes have the unique mechanic 'Fury' where repeated attacks increase your overall damage. The faster the activation of any skill, the lesser pauses in between skills, the faster you increase 'Fury'. Of course this build manages this perfectly.
Brutes are masters of sustained damage. But since it is sustained melee damage, you also have to have some defenses to actually live long enough for a few attack cycles.

b) Fire Armor as Secondary
Caps out Fire resistances at barely any investment. Has some decent damage and sustain skills. This secondary also has the 'Consume'-skill to recharge mana, which you can skill out of, once you have the Destiny 'Ageless Core Epiphany'.

c) Titan Weapons Primary
TW has a special mechanic to it called 'Momentum'. Basically you use a regular skill which activates 'Momentum' and while the buff is active the activation time of other TW-skills is lowered by a second. 'Momentum' also activates two skills, one of which is area of effect, the other single target. Think about it for a second; lower activation time means that you activate more skills in the same time frame. When you talk about damage per second that is an improvement. In consequence you take the two skills with the shortest activation time to trigger 'Momentum' and then go ham with everything area of effect you can muster.

d) Attack chains for single target and area of effect
I use the keyboard keys '1' 'Titan Sweep'  to activate 'Momentum', if it fails '2' 'Crushing Blow'. Once activated use '3' 'Whirling Smash' and '4' 'Burn' for area of effect. 'Follow Through' is the auto-power - you can make it so by pressing 'Strg'+'left mouse button' - and helps with the bosses in a group as does '5' 'Rend Armor'. With the current setup the 'Whirling Wind' area of effect has a four second cooldown. With the power ups 'Build Momentum' and 'Fiery Embrace' you can further increase the damage output. And some Incarnate skill for a lvl-shift makes also sense.

e) Genesis Incarnate Power and helpful keybinds and macros
Genesis Incarnate Power:
Socket Core Flawless Genesis

Helpful macros and keybinds:
/bind f "target_enemy_near$$follow"
>> autofollow nearest enemy

/macro INC "windowtoggle Incarnate"
>> Open the Incarnate window

Just fyi. You can loose some overall resistances and incorporate even more of Force Feedback +Recharge-IOs. It will not hurt the fire farm part. However in this sanitized version i left them out in order to make this build more useful for general content.
