If you have any specific ideas for face or hair options that you'd like to see implemented, feel free to post some pictures of what you have in mind.

Maybe include Geneticists and... the healing one for Crey?

Welcome to Rebirth and Welcome back to CoH!

I'll tell you that our Forums are relatively underutilized. Much of the community interaction takes place on our official Discord channel. I believe there is a link to it at the top of the forum.

We are a bit of a village-sized server, so our community is more like a large Super group. Due to that there are certain times that teams can be hard to find, but if you're willing to lead your own, you will generally find people to join. Being available on weekends, I would encourage you to participate in the Mothership Raids that are every Saturday.

Welcome again! Hope to see you in game.

My concern is that this could become punitive for new and casual players as well as players who play a lot of alts and therefore don't spend a lot of time at level 50.

What if there was a system to exchange Inf for merits directly, perhaps at an inflated rate, to accomplish something similar without hurting those who aren't looking to dump Inf?

Here is another guide from the live forums that I found very helpful. https://web.archive.org/web/20120905142751/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=124467&page=2

The sample builds haven't been updated with inherent Fitness or ATOs, but they are still a good starting point.

This is not my work, just sharing so that others may benefit from it as well.

Seriously! With enough Fury built up you can one-shot minions early on.

In reference to the OP, the various recharge descriptions are, I think, relative.

Thanks for keeping up with this!

There are numerous guides on the old forums and, while some are outdated, they contain a lot of information that is worth keeping around. I did not write these, but some people may want to read them without having to go diving through the old, live forums:

First: the magnum opus of tri-form Warshade guides. It is something of the gold standard for powerset guides: https://dechskaison.blogspot.com/2011/01/mfing-warshade.html

Here is an exceptionally thorough human-only Warshade guide. The author recommends leveling up as a tri-form and respeccing into human-only at 50: https://web.archive.org/web/20120906052513/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=280670

A build-only post from just before shutdown: https://web.archive.org/web/20120911114020/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=296404

I haven't played any of the human-only builds, but have really enjoyed my currently level 47 tri-form Warshade and can't wait to really see what he is capable of. I hope this helps some others get interested in playing Warshades. They can be daunting, so these guides can really help narrow one's focus.

If there is interest, I have a lot of other good player guides bookmarked that I am happy to share in their appropriate forum.

Thank you for the in-depth explanation, Muon. I'll pay a lot more attention to my pressure stacks when I'm playing September now.

I, too, would like to see some updates to give the various zones more distinct personalities. I would love to see large gangs of Skulls roaming through Kings Row, for example.; groups of Lost huddled under overpasses.

Since Street sweeping is not nearly as big a part of the game as it once was, we could even rethink spawn placement in places like Steel Canyon. It doesn't make sense for the center of commerce to have random gang members menacing citizens every 30 feet. I'd rather they were moved to the alleys with the occasional mugging taking place. Same with Founders Falls, random warwolves standing on bridges doesn't fit with what appears to be a high-class neighborhood.

I feel like Brickstown more-or-less gets it right, but I would love to see an Arachnos flyer leave The Zig occasionally.

Guess I need to redo the build for my Fire/Martial Blaster.

Hmm... Fire Martial would make a great character name.

As a relatively casual player and dedicated altaholic who isn't flush with Influence, I'm disappointed in the increased cost of the attuned IOs, specifically the Overwhelming Force as it's literally a game-changer for certain builds and only attainable a few weeks a year.

I understand the desire to regulate the prices and, frankly, 1 million, as they currently are, is quite cheap for such a useful enhancement. Would it be possible to include Overwhelming Force enhancements in the Super Packs and make them convertable as a compromise?

As someone who has very limited playtime, I frequently find myself soloing and TFs are pretty much not an option. My point of view, therefore, is one of a mostly soloist. I enjoy playing through missions and have little interest in PLing unless it is to get past a particularly slow portion of the leveling process. I'm not a completionist by any means. I like having different tracks for my alts to follow to keep me from getting bored playing the same content repeatedly.

I would very much not want to see XP rates reduced. I would be tempted to lobby for an increase, but not more than 1.25-1.5 times current rates. Frankly, however, I think they're fine how they are. I rarely play my 50s and I don't really understand the rush to get there. I have enough alts that I can leave some unplayed to accumulate Patrol XP before playing them and save the Experienced power uses for 30+, which allows me to artificially increase my rate of gains.

Personally I would prefer a smoothing of the leveling curve so things don't slow down so dramatically at certain points.

It would be nice if you could put them in a costume or at least colors of your Supergroup so they would be like non-superpowered SG members.

Thanks for the write-up. I've been interested in Wind Control but, like you said, there isn't a lot of information on it. It seems to have some interesting mechanics. I'm guessing it's a safe, but slow soloer?
