Less spyware... what happens is Mozilla uses and is funded by Google Ads. Google in turn does actively go against them, as noted they deliberately fucked up Youtube for firefox (this was found a while back, a specific browser check)... it's possibly to encourage people to move to chrome, almost certainly because of manifest2 and advanced adblockers like ublock origin which bypass ads and aren't detectable by most means.

As for the IP... it's google cloud. That's like saying a company is allied with Jeff Bezos because they use AWS.

Sounds like the firefox issue is a version thing, I'm running 134.

And I know google dislikes and isn't in cahoots with firefox, or Youtube wouldn't deliberately slow down and break FF loads, and FF wouldn't allow manifest2 stuff (specifically and pretty much only ublock origin in google's hate-list)

Except the lack of any PBAOE running on my character during the crash, or otherwise. Genesis should only proc when you're attacking, with socket. Or when you're using the power otherwise.

If Genesis was firing on everyone automatically without needing to attack them, *everyone* would have it because it's now a PBAOE proc dot/debuff incarnate, which would be a tad broken. 

I hit the same issue with my kinetic/electric defender. Socket core flawless genesis being equipped caused a crash, not didn't. Re-equipping genesis when I had a technician following caused a mapserve within maybe 5 seconds. (Unlike some people's experiences my socket was still equipped after I loaded back in)

I however had reactive core flawless for my interface socketed (as socket affects that proc at higher levels) so this implies a: it's the genesis being socketed specifically, and b: as warburg is below 50 it's likely the under-level-45 proc component causing issues.

We'd need someone with a different genesis to check, specifically if using the granted genesis power of the other three counts. (The reason being the other three grant a use power, but socket gives a proc and it's a delayed crash so could well be on the proc activating)

Nah, turns out foxes *eat* birds. Or more specifically firefox has issues with the forum software (but not chromium base). This is the only thing chrome is used for on my computer, and I hate it but until it can be pinned down... well...

This was a thread to test if I could read/reply to things, and helped me figure out the browser thing.

Mentioned on the discord, I'd be interested but the issue for me is timing: while I'm free any weekday (barring unexpected) the earliest I can get on any weekday is 7:30CST or so.

Otherwise I have a character ready chilling in their cell in Breakout.

As for post-Breakout, I have no preferences. I played Burke and Kalinda before the revamp, and have done the new content now as well. I would prefer missions/etc rather than generic street sweeping, unless everyone is that eager to blitz to 6 and get out of there.

So, since time is an issue, feel free to bypass me if needed and I'll just PUG if I'm playing and the group is on.
