This is ready for other people to try out now.

You can either build it yourself from this GitHub repo: https://github.com/Jaggeroth/cox-character-build

Or if you trust me down load the compiled JAR file from here: https://hero-id.co.uk/rebirth/character-build-tool.zip
You will need java installed of version 11.0.3 or higher.
Unzip to a directory
Fill in the config file with your account details
Then run the command
Code: [Select]
java -jar cox-character-build-0.0.1-jar-with-dependencies.jar
The programme will probably report missing stuff, let me know and I will add it.

Must admit I am having a bit of trouble with Warshades. Their free powers appear in their build data with data inconsistent to the rest of their powers :(

This is actually getting closer to becoming usuable  ;)

I have updated it so that it dispays an icon for DOs & SOs. I couldn't be bothered to download icons for all those enhancements so it is just using the generic traing enhancement and then dropping the appropriate dual origin or single origin themed ring on top.

I've been playing with a programme to parse Rebirth character data from your account page (https://www.cityofheroesrebirth.com/public/manage) and then spit out your characters build info as a bunch of html. There is still a lot to do, mostly missing icons and name translation. But if you are interested here is the data from my characters:

There is a Git Repo (https://github.com/Jaggeroth/cox-character-build) but its not really ready to share yet. You would have to run the HtmlIndex class for it to build the HTML.

While a Psionic damage proc may seem like a good idea at first blush ... it is fundamentally flawed with respect to Sleep and Confuse powers. Adding damage to Confuse will negate the value of powers that do not automatically draw aggro (and the same is also true for some Sleep powers too!).

I couldn't agree more. Its very annoying for couple of characters I have that are heavy with Sleep & Confuse powers that their own ATOs are counter productive to many of their powers. So sets aimed at Controllers should have procs that do something other than damage

I have been testing mainly with a character with just Fly & Aerobatics. When using these on Test I find that Fly frequently breaks Flight pose in an annoying way. It seems to take a while to settle down into a flight pose and by a while I mean 20-30 seconds of straight flying.

Any use of the space bar to gain height also causes the character to break flight pose, which doesn't look right at all.

I've tried all the different pose ooptions and the behaviour is the same.

I've also tried setting a pose on Hover (even though I don't have Hover) and that hasn't changed anything.

Needless to say I do not see this behaviour on Live.

Please can we revert the lastest change that moved +flight control out of Aerobatics and into Afterburner. It doesn't work either mechanically or thematically.

I wish it was a Incarnate reward i.e. that if you are an incarnate people could come to you to train up.

I mean, I know much more than that fool Positron ;)
